2868 b34 D LCSO EOC Op1 Emergency Operations Center Ops 1 appears to be displayed on my PRS 800 as 2837 and so far, it has been encrypted. I went ahead and submitted it to the database however maybe I am seeing 2887 (hard to make out if it is a 3). Anyhow it has been showing up a lot of late and always seems to be encryped. I am OK with a channel or two being encrypted just as long as the majority are not............................

Setting up a new voting receiver, perhaps?

TG 2854: Constantly broadcasting a recorded message: "Tear a thin sheet from the yellow pad. A cruise in warm waters in a sleek yacht is fun."

Are they using this to calibrate a new voting receiver site, or new TX/RX? Or is it somehow related to calibrating a talkgroup?

Anyone's guess. They might be testing the continuous duty cycle of transmitters. It could be anything.
