New LP antenna

I just put up one of DPD productions new 118-1000mhz LP antenna.
This is one great antenna for the money.Great looks and very easy to put together.
Performance wise from 30-860 mhz excellent. I pick up low band state police just as good as a discone.VHF air...fantastic able to hear controllers and planes on the ground.UHF air just as good. 860 mhz trunking great. As far as other freqs VHF high,UHF,VHF low really good.If you are looking for a real good LP but don't want to break the bank check out this antenna. Nice job Dave

How hard is it to install? I think I'll be getting one of these in the spring.

Not hard to install at all.The only things you have to attach are the elements to the boom
and a piece of pvc pipe (which is included) to the boom.Very simple.Make sure you use some GOOD quality coax (RG-8,9913,LMR400 or equivilant)and try to have the right connectors on your coax.
