The City of Lansing Police Department restructured the layout of the city by moving away from districts and into sectors. There are four total sectors for the city. In doing so, they changed the callsigns that each unit uses on the air. They used to say 3A6 (3 Adam 6), to mean a single officer in the third district. Now it's 33A23, and I know it's a single officer, but not entirely sure what the 33 means? Does anyone have an idea or know where I can find out?
