LVMPD 800 MHz

The LVMPD has been noted for using 800 MHz conventional frequencies for linking into other systems for mutual aid purposes and for their mobile data terminals. In the Las Vegas valley, 856.9625 which is listed for the LVMPD is currently used by the State of Nevada for the NSRS TRS (Edacs) as frequency five on the Sunrise Mountain site. Perhaps it will be their way of accessing that system. The agency also uses 866.375 which permits other agencies using 800 MHz to access MPD's VHF system for MPD Channel 1 (159.1500).
