well here it is, my new install on my Maxrad antenna for my AOR 8200 mkII. I had a company do the install that way if they screw it up they pay for it.

What's a "Maxrad" antenna? The picture shows the standard 1/4 wave VHF Hi Band NMO mount antenna any ham armed with a 3/4" Greeley chassis punch can install. That's a neat and very professional rig installation though but considering the simplicity it's very hard to screw up. Methinks your fears are unfounded since I have seen work just as good done by the average ham in spite of a friend's "Leaning Tower Of Pizza" that has a nasty habit of dumping his 223MHz rig. (;->)

That minivan with the huge beams on it is going a little too far. I like the heavy duty rotor as well.... :!:

Why ,or rather where would you need all that?
