While TineEar's feed is by far the best out there for the region, I found one today that seems to be running 24/7. Assuming you have teamspeak installed plug in this server address www.incidentbroadcast.com:8767 and click on Baltimore Metro area. It covers all the local fire departments.

No video. That's why yours is so awesome. However if you're familiar with the agencies on the feed you can figure out who's speaking. An advnatage is that this is apparently only a split second delay, while your feed I noticed has a half minute delay. It only covers the area fire departments so it's no where near as complete as yours is. Don't worry there's no competition :)

Worry? Nahhh, not I. I'd welcome seeing plenty of sites like mine up and broadcasting. The delay on my signal seems to be different from one ISP to the next. In some instances, the delay is about a second or two, others have reported longer delays but there is a video buffering setting in the Windows Media Player (darned if I can remember what it is right now) that can be changed and the long delay can be eliminated. The answer is somewhere within the Maryland Scanner thread that I started after someone found that little secret and posted it.

With your feed I experience a 20-30 second delay, with the teamspeak server it's almost instantaneous. That's probably because it was developed specifically for online gaming usage.

Alan makes a good point. There's no competition here, but as someone adds a feed, there's someone else to add something that might interest other listeners.
Some just want fire, some want air, some want police. Some want Balt, some want Howard ect.. you get the point.
This is very healthy for the hobby.

Nice work to all.
