A good place to start is the standard set of MED channels (CTCSS varies):
MED 1 463.0000
MED 2 463.0250
MED 3 463.0500
MED 4 463.0750
MED 5 463.1000
MED 6 463.1250
MED 7 463.1500
MED 8 463.1750
MED 9 462.9500
MED 10 462.9750

Then add the normal VHF channels like MARC 1/2/3/4, standard EMS A/B/C channels, plus local specialty EMS frequencies.

For good measure, check http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?aid=1006 for the statewide common mutual aid frequencies. Although I've only heard Medflights generally use MARC for landing zone coordination, it's probably good measure to have these added in.

Check http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?aid=2471 for the existing RR database of Medflight information, too.

Don't forget to send in a database update when you get the final word.

It's not Med Flight. It is a third Helo from Flight For Life out of Milwaukee... well now Waukesha. My guess would be the frqs are the same.

I was told Flight for Life no longer has use of the 463/468.175 MED repeater as that was owned by Milwaukee County paramedic base. Soooo.... only place I have found them communicating directly with thier dispatch this year has been on 129.475 AM. Unless someone else has info on them setting up a new system on VHF or UHF, this is the only place they have been found other than in direct comms with local agencies on the local radio systems or on 155.340

They still use 463/468.175 for giving patient information to the trauma center at Froedert, which is handled by Paramedic base... now "EMS Comm". But all of their dispatch and operations appear on 129.475.

It may be personal gear but I have seen some crew with nextels. If they do I would imagine thats how, along with pagers, they get calls from the dispatch when they are not in the aircraft.

I have seen Nextel handsets at the base too, sounds like they are used pretty frequently as well.
