Hey guys. I have just joined the community today as I was pointed in this direction after watching a YouTube video on the SDS100. I have actually been a scanner since I was a child mainly interested in air band. I am a licensed amateur radio operator in the UK and I moved to the US 6 years ago. Just recently I moved from NJ to TN with my job.

I live in MT Juliet and I love it here! I was wondering before my new toy turns up if you had any pointers of what's available and what's not available due to encryption in my area. I had been listening to some PD activity on my old AR8200 so I know at least some of that is available. Just looking for any info you locals may have!

both MJ PD and FD dispatch channels are in the clear on the mid TN TRS, metro PD dispatch channels are In the clear , most of nashville FD is too.... wilson county EMS/FD are still on vhf/uhf and Lebanon is DMR and sadly E. plus THP dispatch is clear in TACN so is TEMA and the TEMA help trucks
