I have had a scanner for a few years my First was a BC72XLT

The radios a have now are My XLT a Grudig S450DLX Field radio, Dozens of CBs everywhere and a Baofeng UV-5RE+ so AMA

I love the Baofeng radios. I have the UV-5R+ and I use it to check into the 2 meter net when I'm operating portable at my girlfriend's house.

Do you have a radio license? I've talked to several guys out of PA and they all have nice signals out of that part of the country.

Taking the test next week, Strictly RX till then. Signals aren't bad I can get the WAN repeater system and local 5-0's 70cm repeater. Cant tell ya more till I get my License.
