Stillwater has recently been playing host to training flights from Vance AFB while they are doing runway repairs. I've wondered what freq the Stillwater tower was using to talk to them, but haven't had the time to check. Now, thanks to the Plane Sense column in the 1/2005 issue of Popular Communications, I have someplace to look. 254.25 MHz. It also lists a couple of changes in Okla. City, Tinker switced from 289.6 to 251.05 MHz for LC (whatever that is), and Will Rogers switched from 319.4 to 225.6 for ANG Ops/Command Post.
Plug them in and see what you hear! Oh, and be nice and buy a subscription to Pop. Comm!
