Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga is expaning it's LifeForce fleet by adding a third aircraft to serve northern Georgia. It will be "LifeForce 3" and is planned to be stationed in Calhoun. The repeater for LifeForce 3 will be on 453.4125 and is going on top of Taylor's Ridge just east of Summerville. It's call sign is WQEC 245 and is licensed to operate at 240 watts. Last I heard it was going in service later this summer/fall. The ship will cover northern Georgia/Alabama and relieve the load LifeForce 1 works out of Chattanooga. Comms with the ER will be on the Med 1 repeater from Erlanger, 463.000. They might at times also use the Signal Mountain repeater, Med 3, 463.050. LifeForce 2 remains busy out of Sparta Tennessee, Med 9, 462.950.
