With the transition of Public Safety 800 mHz to 700 mHz in Feb '09, what frequencies have been designated to replace:

866.0125 PL tone 156.7 I-CALL
866.5125 PL tone 156.7 I-TAC-1
867.0125 PL tone 156.7 I-TAC-2
867.5125 PL tone 156.7 I-TAC-3
868.0125 PL tone 156.7 I-TAC-4

I presume the new Mutual Aid Channels will use the APCO-25 protocol. Does anyone have any information on the freq's for both simplex and repeater inputs?

The NPSPAC Mutual Aid channels are NOT being replaced. The 700 MHz MA channels will be in addition to the Call and 4 TAC's.

Also as part of the re-banding the NPSPAC Mutual Aid Channels are being "officially renamed" to the following:

851.0125 806.0125 Fixed-Mobile 8CALL90

851.5125 806.5125 Fixed-Mobile 8TAC91

852.0125 807.0125 Fixed-Mobile 8TAC92

852.5125 807.5125 Fixed-Mobile 8TAC93

853.0125 808.0125 Fixed-Mobile 8TAC94

The above NTIA document also has the 700 MHz information your seeking.

MHz or mHz? It makes a BIG difference!

Channels in the 700MHz range will be an addition, not a replacement for the 800MHz channels. I'm not aware of any 700mHz channels since they are below 1 Hz in frequency (700mHz = 0.700Hz). <wink>
