It is a P25 Standard system (9600 bps control channel) and is made by multiple brands (not just /\/\otorola). I believe that this one is P25IP made by Harrison / MA-COM.

Depends on the scanner... P25... Motorola 800 mhz P25... Motorola 9600. What do you have?

I kept it as an edacs to match the previous system. I'll change it to a moto 800 P25 and see what happens.

New system is NOT EDACS. It's P25 standard.

As has been stated, it depends on the scanner.

In my 996T I set it as MotorolaP25 and it works well.

Exactly. I think the reason scanners track it as MotorolaP25 is because Motorola was the first to manufacture the system.

However this particular one was made by M/A-COM/Harris, the makers of EDACS. Confusing huh?
