New OCPD SW division

OCPD announced today new division boundaries (effective June 3), with the new SW station opening.

I'm assuming they will be creating a new TG on OKWIN for them??? Or will they take over the Will Rogers TG, 52464?

From what I've been told informally, I *believe* (nothing official yet) Will Rogers Talkgroup will be used for the new SW Division, on OKC's system. Also in the news release, it says The Will Rogers Division: "Will convert to service the Uniform Support Division (Tactical Unit, Bomb Squad, & Fleet Services)"

Been told they are looking at moving the helicopters out there as well. They was supposed to be out of the old location sometime back. The only issue with getting them out there is they would have to takeoff and go east then go back west to avoid the Will Rogers air traffic. The old WILL Rogers station would house the support units.

I am seeing new talk groups pop up on Oklahoma City Site 1 Core Simulcast and a new Primary Site.
Radio techs been doing tons of testing on these talk groups not listed here at RR in the OKC database:

Those have no labels and no target id's which mean we will have to figure it all out unless someone is a best friend to radio administration at OKCPD communications center. I have refreshed my Unitrunker downloading the RR data base from SID 2180

421 is an encrypted talkgroup, have seen it used for a year. 1537 is used for some sort of station alerting for Bethany FD, I believe. 1656 is used for some sort of school activity, perhaps PC schools.

2001 is some sort of station alerting for OCFD, I believe for when there are medical calls. 2047 I've seen used for OCFD to patch with other systems/frequencies.

I monitor the core simulcast layer mostly, have not seen any activity on Unitrunker from groups 1919, 1537 & 657

hmmmm means my unitrunker data got lost. have to redownload the system i suppose. I did see a new primary site with no data

Last I knew, all should still be the same. All that was "Will Rogers" is now "SW". Channel shouldn't have been touched. Then again that's a "shouldn't have".
