So, they will be APCO P25 Phase I sites.

I'm excited, they should be within my range. I can hear the Kellyville and Bristow analog sites just fine. Now, we wait.

They're really blanketing Creek County with this P25 deployment. There's got to be an interesting backstory, especially given the state budget issues.

The Creek site has five locations with the same 10 channels. That looks like a simulcast system.

The Drumright site has one location with 4 channels and it's within 9 to 16 miles of three of the other sites. That looks like they don't want to play in the same sandbox with their neighbors.

Glad to hear they are finally expanding that way. The Drumright site will cover the dead spots of eastern Payne County and fill in the gap with the Stillwater site. All they need to do now is add sites in Pawhuska and Ponca City and that will help Troop K with all their 800 coverage.
