Hmm strange.. so maybe Site 34 is in the Niagara Region.

I started to hear 421.375 MHz down hear in Fort Erie several days ago and now I'm hearing 421.025 MHz very strong data noise and consistent, I have been checking the other frequencies and I hear nothing at this time.

I was leaving Ingersoll yesterday morning headed for St. Thomas so I punched in Site 28 to see what I could get... It was reasonably weak as I headed south on Culloden Line over the 401 but got a little stronger as I neared Highway 3... peaking at about 3 bars on my Pro-106. After turning and heading West on #3 it slowly faded out and was pretty much gone by the time I got to Aylmer, so I'm thinking perhaps somewhere over Tillsonburg way maybe... I'm going to be headed to the GTA for the weekend via Hamilton tomorrow so I'll keep an ear on this site as I take the 403 towards Brantford.

I was thinking about driving down sometime this weekend to Caledonia and Hagersville and see if I can hear site 28 down that way. Maybe if I get the motivation I will drive down Jarvis and Dover. Right now I am not hearing site 28 here in Ancaster.

It looks like there is no unknown neighbours for these two sites right now but I think they both will have new neighbours eventually.

I drove down Highway 6 today between the Hammer and Dover. It looks like Site 28 is around Port Dover if not in the city. I was getting it at full strength in Dover and as I was driving north a little ways out of the city it was going down slightly in signal strength.

I also heard from Muxlow last night that he also suspected it was in the Port Dover area. Sounds reasonable to... I'm sure the RCMP want a good strong signal for when they are there keeping an eye on biker gatherings

I started to get 2-3 bars around Tillsonburg with the stock PSR500 antenna and the radio sitting on the dash of the car. Signal died about 10km east of Tillsonburg then came back when i got maybe 30km ish out from port dover area and was strong then entire time i was around there

I am hearing, well not really as its encrypted tg 501 currently on the Toronto PIA site. It's been quite active the past 10 minutes or so.

I am waiting for the Oshawa and Peterborough towers to be converted over. Every once in a while I do get Toronto East but very weak.

I was in Buffalo last Sunday and Site 34 was coming in two bars. It was the only site in the system received in the US for me.

Could this be St. Catharines?

Everytime I go buy 421.025 it comes in loud and clear, it's the only CC Frequency lately I can hear. It's comming in loud and clear right now.

If you have Unitrunker.. try running it on that tower and see what neighbours are listed. It would be interesting to see if this is really a neighbour of Cookstown.

Yep, we are referencing this trunking system: RCMP Central Region Operation Communication System Trunking System, Southern Ontario, Ontario - Scanner Frequencies

We are trying to nail down locations for Sites 29 - 33.

I've changed Site 31 to an active control channel.

Can you receive any of the control channels of those sites from your location?
