4 new P25 Control Channels!! from Mississauga

Hi Guys,

Look what popped up this morning!!

Wondering what they are for... G20? The only site I could not get a SID on what the first as the signal was too weak. Will run T88 on these today! Kind of scares me to be honest.. would suck if this was Toronto's new system.. South North East and West.. something tells me it is probably just the RCMP system waking up.. but with a different SYSID?

421.0500
421.1625 -036FH-0123
421.5000 -036FH-0124
421.6000 -036FH-0117

Have fun.. let the speculation begin!

Matt: I added in the SID for the first frequency you found. Here in Rexdale the signal is not bad.

Along with the above, I am also picking up in Toronto

T: 110 = 421.0500
T: 117 = 421.1625

both not in database

Only receiving control channels , no voice channels.

For 421.0500 I can get it decently in Rexdale. The SID is as follows:
SID036FH-0116.

MCuipa found this yesterday as did WZI,(Matt).
.Matt was barely able to pick up the signal but my 396 did show the SID here at work.

The system ID for everything but London seems to be 36F.

Since what you've found is more RCMP channels, I've merged the two threads.

Perhaps Forts can check the system id's for the London sites and confirm whether it's 36F or 39F that he's hearing.

Interesting... I just checked my laptop as I had run Pro96COM on the London sites last week and it is indeed 36F... I'm not sure if that changed at some point or if I just fat fingered it on my first post, but I would likely guess the latter.

new voice freqs from RCMP trs testing today

approx 10AM this morning, I heard a pile of freqs in the range from 410 to 424Mhz
They all had a test tone 1 khz (sounds like a "B" note on the piano) (no voice) and all freqs had an NAC of 293 (as monitored on my PSR500)
There was some good tropo this morning and i'm sure a lot of the freqs were not local to me (Whitby)
suprisingly some of the freqs from TAFL listed as being licensed to Metrolinx were testing at the same with time, as the RCMP freqs associated with their new P25 system (I heard some of the following testing on the P25 TRS lately as well with cc 421.500 and 421.600
410.3125
410.3875
411.4875 listed in TAFL as metrolinx
413.3375 listed in TAFL as metrolinx
412.150
422.425
422.125
421.9875
421.050
422.8375
there were many others but i didn't write em down
anyone else hear this???

wicked tropo from WNY at the time as well

P25 decoding

So when I am in states next week and pick up a Pro96 scanner which I had planned to do anyway...
I can pick up 'some' of the G20 excitement, I am sure some will still be encrypted.. no?
