Thanks radioman2001, at least the fire talkgroups seem consistent with the county presentation from 2020

Will they Eventually set up a tone out list over this system? Im sure they’ll run into issues almost immediately when they do.. I mean look at how long it took Orange County to get tone outs right over CORNet

It sounds like your trying to ask if 60 control has plans to put paging a talk group(s) on the New P25 system as CORNNet Has for fire and EMS? I don't think this is the case because 60 control has a separate plan to upgrade their paging system to UHF. 3 Frequencies in the north and 3 In the south. I don't know if they are hoping the county up into 6 Where certain depts are on one freq and the rest on others. Their last deadline for the new paging system was Late Q4 of this year.

I just went ahead and checked the website, apparently, there was a FAB (Fire Advisory Board) Meeting on Monday night. I think it was the first one held in person since the dempanic. Ive been checking all week and they haven't posted anything new about that meeting yet.

Honestly, I hope they don't go thru with this plan to consolidate the Fire & EMS Talk groups into one. Certain talkgroups are much busier than others (FIre & EMS 14) already on the existing System, Can't imagine what it will sound like once they combine it. I think will just make for a messier setup but that's just my opinion.

GTR800-So when is the current Motorola Smart Zone ll for WCDES going from analog to digital P.25 and are they keeping the same UHF frequencies, control channels and TGID'S currently in use?

To quote your own Post in this same thread:
Yes, Everything is STAYING on the T-Band System.

They are sticking with the same frequencies as the current system. Not going to be the same control channels. Look in the database below. And yes the TGIDs are the same for the most part not all but most.

The current Motorola SmartZone system is not going from analog to digital. This is a new ASTRO 25 system that is replacing the old SmartZone system. Cutover is planned for November, subject to change. The new system is in the database, all of your questions can be answered by looking there.

Trunk Ops 1, 2, 3 & 4, And Some other 60 Control Fire/EMS Talkgroups have been active since last Monday on the North Simulcast Cell with testing. I put it in My SDS for ****s and Giggles and all you hear is the radio techs testing "1 2 3 4 5 testing. How do you hear me" then "Loud and Clear 1 2 3 4 5". Yeah, It gets old fast.

But they mostly seem to be doing a majority of the testing on Trunk Ops 1 & 2 (TG 339 & TG 341).

Has anyone heard any testing going on this week? Since Monday, I haven't been able to receive anything on DSD+ or my SDS200, trying to figure out what's going on

Caught some testing earlier this week, but haven't really listened since. They could simply be done testing and are just waiting for the cut over date.

There had been little testing this week but heavy radio coverage testing activity by multiple teams for the last three weeks so probably it is already completed.

Definitely more activity today on Bee Line talk groups 1325, 1327 and 1329

1325 seems to be identified as DOT DIST 1
1327 DOT DIST 2
1329 DOT DIST 3

Haven't heard anything concrete news yet as to when Fire/EMS is switching over. Seems like all of the testing for Fire/EMS is done already and has been since October, according to DSD and I haven't captured any activity on any of the Fire/EMS TGs as I used to when they were testing. County Transit has been fully operational since mid-November on the P25 System.

I have been hearing some testing going on what I think to be the new paging Frequencies. So maybe they are waiting for the testing to be done on the paging system then they will switch everything. My guess is hopefully within the next few weeks or Jan 1st they will switch over entirely, that would be nice, but one can only hope. They seem to have this supper secret list on the timeframe and operations of all this and it changes every day, so your guess as to when everything will be fully operational is a good as mine.

Hey do you happen to have a bandplan/shift data table for this UHF phase II system.. correct me if I’m wrong but from what I’ve heard/read UHF/VHF phase II systems Don’t use a standardized bandplan/shift/direction table like a 7/800mhz system would.
