For the last while I have been keeping track of a P25 control channel in Toronto.

860.8625

It was giving this info: Sys ID:3C2
WACN:BEE00
Site :105

Today the voice channels started appearing along with the talkgroups, they cannot be monitored as they are encrypted, but I logged the info
to share here:

Site 105 Voice and Control Channels

  • 857.0875
  • 857.2625
  • 857.3375
  • 857.5625
  • 857.6125
  • 857.7625
  • 857.9625
  • 859.4375
  • 859.5125
  • 859.7625
  • 859.9625
  • 860.3625
  • 860.5125
  • 860.8625 control channel
Talkgroups noted:

3001
3005
3046
3074

I will not comment on what I think it is as I have no way to confirm. :(

Please add any additional info if you come across it.

Well, I'll add to the speculation. The signal is coming from First Canadian Place.

I'm hearing some voice (I think ?) on the following as I write this,

859.5375 P25 082
859.7125 P25 082
859.8875 P25 082

note sure these three have anything to do with the above cc.

mciupa,

The cc in your first post, I'm getting it as 3C5 S005. I have entered that cc in my 106 as P25 AUTO.

It isn't the G20 stuff. Check the other threads. The G20 is using a UHF Nexedge system from Kenwood.

Yes Eric, between 9 to 10 am today.
Also add talkgroup 3073

So its a P25 system I guess? That is there is no offset like Fleetnet, more like the Metrolinx system, I'll bring my scanner for sure on Monday.

On day shift this week, so it's hard to monitor, but as soon as I turned on the scanner at lunch I saw another voice freq. in the rotation:
857.7125 using talkgroup 3005

I put in the system as a P25 system with the control channels Mike listed but cannot hear this frequency and thus cannot follow it from work in Rexdale.

If I take the 427 today to the QEW I will look for it, I can get the regular TPS system even with my 77SMA in the car from the southern areas of eto-bi-cokie

For anyone running UniTrunker... It would be of benefit to run it in parallel with 3c08. You might notice some similarities.

TPS, y'all say... Similarities with 3C08...

Hm...

Code:
Neighbour List for 3C08 zone 1 (South)
   SysID Zone -----PCC----- Zone Name
    03C2 02 683 (868.0875) Funky East
    03C2 03 649 (867.2375) Funky North
    03C2 04 679 (867.9875) Funky West
  Current zone ACC: 478 (862.9625)

Not the SysIDs I'd expect to see on 3C08...
