New Police Force in Gruetli-Laager

Gruetli-Laager, Tennessee has hired three new police officers..
The town reinstated the department that was abolished two years ago.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen hired three officers this week, all between the ages of 18 and 32 years old, who'll be working only during the nighttime hours..
Two of the officers are graduates of the Cleveland State Community College Law Enforcement Academy. The third officer graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy in Nashville..
Three years ago, Gruetli-Laager did away with its four-person department, because town officials said it cost too much to operate.
