new pro 96 issue....

....bought my new Pro 96 a few hours ago. All I need for now are the Morgan county Ohio digital frequencies. I put the 5 digital freqs. I found here on R.R. for Morgan county. For whatever reason I can't get the dadburn thing to scan... when I hit scan here's what's displayed...

scan down...

any help out there? I can go from channel to channel manually.

Looks like the radio is scanning both bank 0 and bank 2 in open mode.
What bank did you put the frequencies in ?

You can toggle a bank on/off by selecting the number of the bank.

I prefer scan up and it seems to make a difference here in my area. You might try control channels only and open the squelch. Manually scroll through them to make sure you are getting a good signal.

I toggled bank 2 off. I put my freqs in bank 0. Still not scanning. to be honest ... I might quit for the night and go back at it tomorrow. Radio shack was zero help. Thanks yous guys for the replies. I'll let yous know when I get it squared away.

you can download it, installl it and use it work 30days before it times out. It is fully working for those 30days. I would pruchase it as using software is so much better than typing by hand.

pro 96...

I got up this morning, initialized my pro 96, programed the five 7 digit Morgan county Ohio frequencies the way the owners manual says and still can't get it to pick up the frequencies while in the scan mode. I can pick them up manually but that's it. I called the RADIO SHACK help line, explained my problem and she (help line person from Dayton) didn't know what to do to fix it. Oh well....
