I grabbed a GRECOM 800. I want to use the software. I have a Chromebook. Any way to get it to work so I can listen to London or the good stuff? I have to clear what the previous owner left in the radio from Toronto, but I read it can only be done through the computer software.

No software only runs on Windows computer.
But you could just put your area in a new playlist and turn off the playlist with the old area. This scanners have big memories and many playlists. Should be able to program your area from the scanner's database .

What do you mean by "the good stuff"?

OPP and EMS. Stuff like that.

Fotgot to include this in my other post. You could just put your area in a new playlist and turn off the playlist with the old area. This scanners have big memories and many playlists. Should be able to program your area from the scanner's database .

That's what I am going to end up doing. I haven't owned anything but Uniden, so this one is definitely a new experience.
