Has anyone successfully set up a pro 197 to scan the Vermillion tower and been able to listen to Clay or Union County. I am using Butel Arc 5000 software to no avail. It loads the frequencys fine along with the talkgroups but when I scan it does not stop on anything. I turned on the auto step and also have atteunator on but still nothing. Is their something I am missing here, I am in Elk Point SD which is easily within range of this tower and am about ready to pull my hair out. Have been reading lots on this forum but still have not found the key I am looking for. Anybody with knowledge of the SD system would be a great help at this point.
