can someone define the following features? I didnt find them anywhere wiki yet...

Negative Channel dropout delay


Intermediate Frequency Exchange


some fancy looking additions I can only hope are also going to be on the 15/996 platforms? :)

any speculation if it will be added to new 3. releases of the 15/996?

looks like the band scope got the full kick in this code? I also assume the recent band scope will be added to the 15/996 after this new radio gets on the shelf for a while?

Allows you to change the IF frequency if you have a birdie or internally generated interference on a frequency you wish to listen to.

"Intermediate Frequency Exchange - changes the IF used for a selected frequency to help avoid image and other mixer-product interference on a frequency."

I'll leave the Negative Channel Dropout Delay to someone else.
"Negative Channel dropout delay (forced resume)"

negative channel dropout delay. allow's you to have the scanner force resume after a predetermined amount of time.i.e. you have a frequency that you listen to that has a hung mic.you don't want to lockout the channel because you might forget to unlock it when the problem is resolved. this feature let's you continue scanning.
