New scanner user (programming)

I've uploaded my county Trunk system to my new GRE PSR-500. All I'm getting is Fire frequencies, even though I included all public service in my download/upload. When the scanner stops on what appears to be a police freq, it is garbled and TSYS is displayed. Obviously, I want to listen to police, fire calls in my county or maybe others later. I'm really confused!!

Welcome to RR. Lake County Public Safety PD uses encryption on all PD channels. See the E under mode.. No scanner will get encrypted traffic. You need to lock out or delete those talk groups to get away from the noise.
