New Scanner

I just got a new bearcat346xt.
I live in Outagamie county in Wisconsin and my local law enforcement agencies have gone to trunked service.
I would really like to obtain the freqs.

Appears to be Outagamie/Winnebago County Public Safety System Trunking System, Varies, Wisconsin - Scanner Frequencies, which cannot be received by that scanner. You will need a digital scanner to monitor that system.

Up man is right. The 346xt is not digital. The 396xt is a digital model. Uniden also has 2 new digital models available for preorder.

You may also want to post a question in the Wisconsin section asking what (if anything other than the state patrol which I believe still uses VHF) you can hear with a non-digital scanner in your area.

In October I visited the Pierce fire truck plant in Appleton and brought my 396XT which is a digital scanner. It received the Winnebago system just fine - Outagamie hadn't started the migration at the time.
