New scanners

I'll soon be in the market for a new handheld scanner. I have both a GRE PSR500 and a UNIDEN BCD396XT and I, honestly, prefer the GRE. My question is whether I should purchase another 500 or wait to see if anything "new" is on the way. Does anyone have any insight into this?

Yes but it is not a digital version. I believe don333 is wondering about any new Digital scanners coming out.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a easier to use, digital scanner hit the market later on. There are lots of people out there that just want to turn it on and listen. Just have to wait and see.
