Heard talkgroup "520" on 10/2/06 at 1435 "...take ninth floor elevator" and that was all. Anyone have an I.D. on this group?

well Don, now I have absolutely no explanation. I am almost positive that the group was 520, although it was fleeting and I have not seen it since. I use a Uniden 996T.

Yes, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals can be on a talkgroup numbered 2000 (125 x 16 = 2000). The reason why there is a gap of 16 numbers between talkgroups (which start at 16, not at 0) is to allow for special functions. Thanks Again SCANdal. I was monitoring the SCPD the day the Aligator Man was discovered and I heard the SCPA for hours on Tg 2000. No doubt.

528 is the new talk group { pro 2067}
528 work they is taking on it not verymuch but did work ...ok
I program the two #'s of 512 & 528 in the radio shack pro 2067 scanner !

O.K., this make a little more sense.
The RIGHT talk-group ID is "1520" (must not have seen the "1" the first time). I heard it today at approx. 1325 hours and there was, again, reference to an elevator. The female indicated the CC # as 12 thousand +/-, which would iindicate a pretty busy job, but I continued to listen for another 1/2 hour and heard nothing.
Any ideas?

Stony Brook ch 4 is TG 1488. Add 32,,,

maybe they needed additonal capacity and had radio services add tg. Easy enough to do,,,
