The SNACC system has been designed to be a smart zone system but in the Las Vegas valley it is operating as a simulcast system. Part of the design includes areas that are outside of the LV valley and these are just some of the out of area sites that are part of the system. Some of them are up and running and others just exist on paper. When all sites are up and running SNACC users will be able to utilize the system in any area of Clark County and some locations outside of Clark County like Bullhead City, AZ where coverage exists. There are some dead spots as expected. Do keep in mind that when rebanding of the 800 MHz system finally happens in Nevada most, if not all of the frequencies showing will change.

Also the control point is simply where the system radio techs have their office. The address is the Clark Co FD Station 18 which is where their headquarters is located.
