I heard some medical traffic on talk group 2044 here in barton county but can not find any info on it. I was wondering if anybody might know what it was.

Probably a regional EMS talkgroup. Each of the 14 sub regions have a Law Enforcement, Fire, EMS, Emergency Management and Public Works TG that is valid on towers in and around that sub-region only. Great Bend is in SC9 (as is Hutch and Newton). As more radios come into play perhaps they will be captured and posted.
