Motor Carrier also switched to black several years ago. There are still some blue cars out there, just as there will be black Trooper cars out there until they phase them out.

White cars are on the road. Saw 2 this past weekend running around down here. Man do they look sharp. Wish I had my cybershot with me.. I like them better than the black. It didn't look like they had low band either..At least no whips that I could see.

Terre Haute Post Command announced last week that the white cars are back and hopes to have his fleet converted back to white within the next 5 years. Haven't seen one here in TH yet, but PC says that there first one has arrived.

I sure agree with my OLD PAL scanner freak I to like white cars
And you are correct last week a trooper was in store just got new white car and HE said NO MORE LOW band radios all they have is 800 ONLY .

No, we're also waiting on 2 towers in the northeast. We have been waiting now for about one year. Seems delay after delay with excuse after excuse. Anyone have any insight on the reason for the delays?

To let you guys know, I was traveling on Hwy. 41 around Vincennes, IN and saw a new state police vehicle, The Vehicle was all white with the blue and gold state police emblem.

I've seen a new white state trooper car in Vincennes also about a week ago.

That's just what I thought, however I like those graphics. I remember
in Louisiana from the end of 1989-1991 the state police here had a real pretty blue units with the gold stripe and the image of the state
boot and they had the Tomar blue strobe light bars and on the front
fenders they had state trooper in gold and state police on the lip of
back decklid. It was the first change in the units in over 40 years.
But in 1992 they went back to the white with red markings and a
blue boot on the doors, it was learned that the department went
back to the white because they received too many complaints
about not being seen from the public when they would drive at
night.
