On OPP Sim 11 (148.765 FM analog), I've always heard stations ID as "Orillia Comm Centre", "London Comm Centre", etc., but this morning I heard a broadcast from the "Oxford-Norfolk Dispatcher" with a fail-to-stop. I wonder if this was a one-off or whether this is a new nomenclature for provincial common channels. I'm going to auto-record for a few days and see if I get any other similar ID's.

It would have been a dispatcher at the London PCC on the Oxford Norfolk desk. I've heard similar in the past saying they're the Toronto dispatcher and the Aurora dispatcher.

I think this is where the dispatch is talking to a 'group' of local units on the simplex freq. This allows them to know the dispatch is aimed at them and not something further away.
