New system in northern Shenandoah Valley

Sysid is 0028. WACN is 00001.

Sites:
101 153.0725
202 153.6875
303 153.0425
404 153.3575

Around Summit Pt, WV I can receive sites 202 and 404 with 5 bars, and 303 just barely. I found 101 and others will coming west across the mountain on Rt7.

Washington Gas has a license that covers all of theses- WQIC699. But they have another system, sysid 0017.

Does the other system cover the same area?

It wouldn't surprise me if they created a second system just for coverage in the valley, much like the Rockingham County EDACS system.

Hmm, I just picked up 153.0725 SysID 017 very weakly again tonight. Been quite a while since i heard it. Can't decode it enough to get any site neighbor info or anything.

Maybe, just maybe, the 153.0725 SysID 017 is a different system than what you're picking up. Maybe what I'm actually hearing isn't Washington Gas Light as I first thought it was. Don't know what else it would be though.

Im trying to stay hoping for it to fade back in enough for a good decode in Pro96Com

You know... I'm probably the bozo who reported that as SysID 017 way back when.

It is indeed reporting 028 for me. Because it was weak, I wasn't always seeing the full info. The site NAC for Site 101 is 017, and I was reading that as the SysID for some reason.

Just got a good copy on Site 101 -- SysID 028, WACN 00001, 153.0725.

I'll make the newly created system visible tomorrow [later today] in the DB.
