New system to replace Saksatchewan Canada's FleetNet in the works

A replacement system for FleetNet might involve the expansion of a system currently under development by the RCMP and SaskPower.

FleetNet is a radio communications system used in the province by emergency services and other organizations, but the system no longer has the required support from the manufacturer, says SaskTel, which runs FleetNet.

Suggest the thread title be adjusted to Saksatchewan, Canada - because there is an Ontario, Canada FleetNet system as well, which has just finished its final deployment stages (or is still in final deployment, depending on who you listen to).
