I don't think there are any talkgroups I know that start with "14." 17, 19, sure, but not 14.

I have never seen a talk group number like that before. I am only getting it on the troop f site. What ever it is , its a very busy talk group.

It is a legit series of TGIDs, I have seen them for a short while now.

New ? CSP talkgroups

Yes I am seeing new numbers as well, such as:
432
32
3760
705621
29024
2096
22496
17200
78413
20528
13808
It's to bad that I am not catching the exact beginning of the conversation.
Maybe I am missing "Troop A to 1515" etc.
Maybe a new set of talkgroups for the system?

There is one legit TG on the list, 22496 is DEEP Radiation Unit. The others are likely false hits.

14608 is the same as 14616. One scanner has status bits turned on and the other has them turned off.

Yes you are correct- I had the status bit feature turned on.Just shut it off- just confuses things. New radio must come with it on by default (Pro-668) or I may have turned it on in the software.
OK on the 22496- I didn't have that one
I think I should start a new thread with my question regarding that subject. I was going to ask anyway.

Checked that and it's definitely 14616 got it on 2 different scanners at 2 different locations. Both have the status bits off

Never use never or definitely. Location has nothing to do with it unless you switch simulcast systems, like from troop G simulcast to troop K.
I can travel 30 miles and still be on the same simulcast system, my location won't matter

14616 divided by 16 would be 913.5, you cant convert 913.5 into hex so it could not be used in a Trunking system
Its 14608 it converts to 913 with a hex of 391, and that will work in a system

CG posted the original reason why we get 14616 above with a link to the rundown on status bits.
