Starting to pick up some p25 talkgroup ID'S in the knox/sevier co area that are not in the database so my question is how do you go about finding out who the ID'S belong to? Been trying to lock in on them to figure out something, but with no luck. Thanks

For the most part it's listen, listen and more listening. One thing left out though. What TRS are you listening to? That would help us try to help you.

He is most likely listening to the TVRTS system, that's the only system in Sevier Co. I am aware of that is using P25 talkgroups.
Tennessee Valley Regional Telecommunications System Trunking System, Varies, Multi-State - Scanner Frequencies

Just as Joe has already stated, for now listening is the way to determine who is using a specific talkgroup.
Another thing is to watch this thread: http://forums.radioreference.com/te...m/142635-chattanooga-regional-p25-system.html , they have a lot of listeners there also that can help.

Roane County is using the TVRCS, and it's 700Mhz. The only 800Mhz parts of this system so far are the Chattanooga and N.W. Georgia cells. Most of Roane Co. should be covered by the Roosavelt Mnt. site although surrounding sites may also carry their traffic. Would love to get an update on what TG's they are using.

Thanks for all the answers, n4yek is correct that I listen to the TVRTS I need to stop leaving out information that would help. Getting hits on 771 & 772 freqs. They do not talk long enough to make it out.
getting most tg's that woodardg has posted along with 1539 & 16019 also
