New Talkgroup on Berkeley Co. Pri. CC..?

Hi, All - On Saturday night, 9/30 at around 9pm I hit on a very "conversational" exchange on what was ID'd on my 2096 as Talkgroup 01189. It's not part of the Talkgroup list here on RR and I wonder if anyone else has spotted it. I wasn't quick enough to get the frequency it showed up on - not that that would matter much. Just F Y'alls I...

I heard it. it was either fire or EMS. I think each company has their own operations TG. I have it labeled Fire Ops 1189. there are a few others like that.

you may want to read some old posts starting about here: http://www.radioreference.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18334&page=9

might help understand the system a little. I saw that you are new to digital, so that might help.

you may want to try listening to Loudoun Co just to get an idea how another digital system works. also, check out the VA forum for info on DoD systems. Clark Co. VA is supposed to go digital sometime. I have a feeling that State Police in the area and Jefferson Co will join the WV Interoperability System soon.
