Started picking up an interop channel on the Rensselaer County P25 system : Tg 237 sounds like it is patched to 460.475, Troy FD. So far 41 hits.
New TG on Rensselaer Co. P25 system for Troy FD.

Interesting. I thought they’d stay on their old system forever! I remember when they went back to the UHF from the old 800 system. Was is the old EDACS system? Very interesting.

no troy fire was never on the edacs system only pd. troy had a patch from the uhf system to the 800 when it first came on the air. now they have a dedicated talkgroup that they are testing out at this time
Thanks. Couldn’t remember which system it was. But at that time I knew someone in the dispatcher world. This Was many years ago. Best I can recall was they didn’t like the way the “new” system at that time worked for the fire comms. So they went back to their old UHF frequency. I don’t think it was the current UHF frequency.
i was not referencing current or recent systems.
Haven’t heard this TG yet. I did a ”side by side” with a radio locked on the UHF analog frequency.
Side by side, as you said, sometimes you can hear the Troy fire and other times you don't receive anything.its sporadic .
It's a patch. TFD is still on UHF.
