I am holding a pending submission that says Tioga County has a new countywide repeater on the air for fire - 159.270
Anyone able to monitor and determine if this is a new main fire channel? Dispatch, response, ops, etc?

Monday they switched to a new system. 159.270 (110.9 pl) is the new response channel. Med 2 was switched about a month ago. I believe they are are still working on it.

Okay. Is the dispatch channel still the same as it was, then? And this new repeater is for response traffic. I'll get it updated later tonight.

As far as I know the dispatch channel is the same. Just heard them dispatch for a chimney fire in Osceola. The old response will still be available for a few more days. I don't now that there is a new repeater. I tend to concentrate mostly on Bradford County, although i am also studying the NXDN trunked system(Smith Radio) on a tower near Sylvania that I didn't know about till a couple of weeks ago. When and if I do I will submit that as well.
