Freescan: New to 996P2

Hello, I am new to the 996P2 model and Im trying to program for a friend using freescan. I am familiar with sentinel but not freescan. I have set everything up and trying to program different color lights for different banks / systems. I have gone through where it shows to set up color alerts but when I program it to the radio it will not change the screen color it just stays the same for every bank / system. Any pointers on this from you all ? Thanks

That was it I had simple view checked. Thats why I couldnt see it. I appreciate your help
