New to DE Scanning

Hello all,

I have recently come to Delaware, originally from NJ, and have been having some trouble with scanning Delaware's statewide trunking system. I am using a RadioShack Pro-97 and have no problems with NJSP's statewide trunking system, but cannot seem to pick up any communications in Delaware. I am in NCC and programmed in the control channels in addition to several TGID's (Newark area). I get an odd tone, yet my scanner displays that the specific TGID's are active. Does anyone have any idea what I could do to hear the communications?

Delaware is a Digital system will need a digital scanner to pick them up,there is vhf frequencies that fire board is rebroadcasted on they can be found in the database

Thank you de784. I suspected this to be the case, but was looking for confirmation. I was aware of the vhf rebroadcast of NCC Fireboard. Are you aware of any PD rebroadcasts in the Newark area?

Seems like someone would offer a live online scanner feed for NCC Fireboard. Some of us out of the area would love to listen in.

I think the Delaware State Police website lets you listen to the DSP command dispatch for each county.

The DSP Scanner can be found at: http://dsp.delaware.gov/

Select 911 Scanner on the left side under Services.
