new to digital scanning got prog suggestions?

I am upgrading from bc560 to pro 160, wow heck off a jump huh. looking at different programs and wondering which one is better or worse and also the advantages of free trial or registering.

From the wiki, it appears that there are two programs that support the Pro-160. Both appear to have downloadable trial versions. I'd try both and see what best meets your needs before laying out money for either.

i started win500 and so far looks pretty simple. one question, is the pro 106 smart enough to know the alt channels if you program the control channels or do you have to add all of those in too.

you need to import/program Both the main CC's & alts.
Also since they can still & will at one point change from those. I would go ahead & program tham all
