New to DMR/NXDN Monitoring

I programmed in a few VHF/UHF frequencies for a local school district and a local mall. When the squelch opens, the "audio" sounds like an analog Motorola control channel. Is this sound indicative of a DMR or NXDN system? In the FCC database, the licenses are listed as "IG Business/Commercial Conventional". Any ideas?

The Digital P25 DMR NXDN can sound like a 800 trunking control channel

NXDN sounds very much like a motorola control channel.

Check the emissions designation. If it's one of these listed on the following, it's a NXDN NEXEDGE system (potentially - never completely rely on FCC listings...)
