• Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio.

We've noticed a huge increase in rants and negative posts that revolve around agencies going to encryption due to the broadcasting of scanner audio on the internet. It's now worn out and continues to be the same recycled rants. These rants hijack the threads and derail the conversation. They no longer have a place anywhere on this forum other than in the designated threads in the Rants forum in the Tavern.

If you violate these guidelines your post will be deleted without notice and an infraction will be issued. We are not against discussion of this issue. You just need to do it in the right place. For example:

Hi all, I am new to the scanner world, as I just purchased a used R.S Pro 2051. And am trying to get adjusted to it. I was just wondering if anyone out here has this same scanner, and if they have any frequencies for South Eastern Wisconsin, ie. Milwaukee, South Milwaukee, Cudahy, or other areas. I am in need of some frequencies. So I can improve my listening. Thanks for having such a wonderful forum and site. There is a wealth of knowledge on this site!!

Thanks
Adam

You can find the frequencies you are looking for under Wisconsin in the database on this site (click "database" at the top of this page).

BTW, you might get more local responses to help you by posting this in the Wisconsin Forum. Welcome to the site! :)
