new to scanners

i was just wondering how to tune in p25 phase 1 for dearborn heights, mi downriver mutual iam new to scanner radios so not exactly sure what im doing if any one could give me help it would be great thank you.

What brand and model scanner are you trying to program this system into? This will influence any advice given.

The easiest way to program your 1065 is to use Win500 or similar program. Since you're already a premium subscriber you could use the RadioReference web import trunked systems.

1. Install and open Win500
2. File - Web import - RadioReference.com - Trunked systems
3. put in your username and password then click the START button
4. Select your Country, State, and County
5. Select the system you want to import
6. click IMPORT THIS SYSTEM button
7. click done
8. Scanner - upload to scanner (Ctrl + U)

you may have to update the CPU and DSP Firmware
