Just got my 2 cheap rtl-sdr dongles. And i must say i have never had so much fun for less than 20 bucks! Im learning alot as well.

Sent via morse code from my front porch light

They are really great fun for the money & the support of the coding community to make their software for free really adds to it all. Its just one of the best things to happen in awhile with this hobby

Oh if you want to listen to trunked systems, I suggest you look at Unitrunker & DSD+. SDR# is also good for various monitoring but you no longer need it to listen to TRS, just UT & DSD+ are needed.

I have three in a box, labelled "TriSDR". Thowe dongle are a lot of fun indeed. The imaging issue is better than the HackRF also.
