New to Snanner world

I am new to Scanner world...
Would like to have one and i am looking to buy one. Maybe used.
I like to buy scanner to listen to Rangers in National Park in Wyoming.
What kind a option i have. I need all the help i can get. Thanks for help
And if u have one for sale that will work in this area please let me know

You should strongly consider one that will do digital (P25) modulation, since Wyoming is building out a P25 system and Yellowstone and other National parks are moving some traffic to digital. These would be the Uniden 396/996 series or GRE 500/600 or Radio Shack equivalent Pro 106/197 They will set you back around $500 or less if you purchase a Radio Shack model on sale. Used, there are some but new is probably a better investment IMO. .

Agreed on buying new. I don't know what your budget is like, but when I purchased my PSR-500 last year, I wanted it new so that I could have a warranty on it. On a college budget, $500 was almost a month's rent, and there's no reason to be risking a machine that might crap out through no fault of my own and having no recourse.
