Hi All,
Just wanted to say Hi and thanks for a great forum and the wealth of info that's on here. I'm new to Trunked scanning but not scanning itself. My old scanner is an old Pro 2023 and my sweet wife let me upgrade to a Uniden BC796D and the Butel ARC250Pro software.
I'm still learning as i go but have programmed the scanner to listen to what i wanted the most, the Surpise PD and surrounding areas. So far i'm pleased with the 796D and very pleased with the Butel sofware. Having semi-retired recently due to a disability and looking for a hobby, the wife wanted me to look into HO trains, maybe one day but not yet, I think i'm really going to enjoy scanning again.
