I was just wondering ,whatkind of scanner I would need to listen to the Hamilton,ontario police,fire and ems ,I was thinking of the BCT15X but my question is i don't know if the police are analog or ditial,your help in this matter would be appreicated

I am not sure what type of scanner you would need but you can check out the Ontario Forum. Welcome to Radio Reference where you will find a wealth of knowledge from people who will help you any way they can. Thsi is a great community of people.

After further searching looks like you would be fine with an analog trunk tracking scanner I believe. The BCT15X should work fine for your area.

Here is their system, it is analog. The 15X is an excellent choice.
