New to this hobby

Hi people, im just new to this im trying to listen to the michigan state wide system. I have a pro96 when i was in the v-folders they were coming in. But now i programmed all the control chanels into the working memory along with the id tags but im receiving nothing. I was just wondering if there was something i had to set like splitter system, table or something. Any help would be appreciated.

No, on splinters. But make sure each freq is set to MO using the MODE button. Also, the bank needs to be MO.

Well thanks for the reply. I think i can receive the MSP on my new scanner. The skip came in the other morning around 8:00 or so, i could hear bits and pieces of them but barely. Maybe im just too far away from one of there towers. Maybe ill take a ride some day down Windsor way and see what i can pick up. Just bought this so i just wanted to see if i programmed and the freqencies and tags in right. Thanks again.
